The electromagnets N type due to their low power consumption and to the continuous duty result indicated specially for operations in the industrial and civil fields, when it is required a repeated use of the solenoid, together with great reliability.

The most common applications are:

• - Cyclical operations consisting in many movements per minute for measuring of liquids, gases and powders, for the packaging (specially food industry), for the cutting and punching of cables or films, etc.
• - Locking of doors, machine tool safety guards, sliding doors for railway carriages and lifts,  lifting bridges, capsizing systems, etc..
• - Emergency brakes and service brakes for parts in movement, such as wheels, pulleys, slides, etc..

The N electromagnets are usually supplied with the continuous duty coil. Anyway a lot of customized versions are available concerning the specifications of the coil ( power and voltage) and the accessories (full-wave rectifier AC-DC, cables, springs, etc..).

Also we are able to design special electromagnets to meet all the customers’s requirements.

Remarks:

• - The N type electromagnets related to the performances of the Elettrostart solenoid range result to be of greater dimensions due to the volume of the coil at low consumption.
• - The electromagnets within the limits of their characteristics could replace some pneumatic and hydraulic actuators with the advantage of not requiring any special feeding system (air compressor, oil pump, etc.)

Special products:

- Double coil double operation B series solenoids. The plunger can presume three positions and moves in the two opposite directions from the middle position depending on which coil is energized.
It is possible to use this type of solenoid for shifting gears on karts

- Linear actuator VAR with electric motor, which under the same sizes has stroke and force higher than the electromagnets, but a piston motion decidedly slower. One application is for acceleration of diesel engines.
