A different use of single coil solenoids D-DS50 and D-DS60
We bring to notice a different use of single coil solenoids D-DS50 and D-DS60 of the Elettrostart range, which have already been known for several years to switch off energised Diesel engines (for example for nautical appliances and in emergency generator sets).
Because of the small dimensions of these electromagnets, that however ensure a force of 84N and a useful stroke of 50mm, many customers also use them to open vehicle doors instead of using the traditional manual system.
Lock release by means of an electric actuator is particularly appreciated on security vehicles, where it is necessary to keep under control the opening of the loading compartment and the driver’s cab.
